Summer Podcast Short Course for children aged 10-16 at The Ivy House starting 26th July

Recommended Posts

Let's get podcasting!

Tickets now on sale for our 'Local' Summer Podcast Club at The Ivy House starting Tuesday 26th July.

We're inviting your children to create a podcast using the theme 'LOCAL' as a starting point. This can be interpreted however they like, and working together as a group with other like-minded creative children, we will produce a podcast including all the jingles & idents, conducting their own interviews and reports, and trails/adverts etc.

The podcast course will be held at The Ivy House on the following dates from 11am-1pm:

Tuesday 26th July - ?12.50 each or ?20 for two children

Wednesday 27th July - ?12.50 each or ?20 for two children

Tuesday 2nd August - ?12.50 each or ?20 for two children

Wednesday 3rd August - ?12.50 each or ?20 for two children

By the end of the 4 days, the children in the club will have created their very own podcast episode which we will post online for all to hear!

If you are unable to attend all the dates, feel free to pop along for one or two of the days, but make sure to book for two children to get your discount.

Tickets cost ?50 per child for the whole course (all four days), but if two children club together, it will cost only ?40 each (or ?80 for the pair), so get your child to bring a friend along and you will receive a lovely discount!

Spaces are limited so do book ASAP if your children would like to get involved in local podcasting ? for the children, by the children!

All the best,

Looked at Suzanne in the past and she is quite expensive, but if planning a wedding or similar - she is reasonable compared with other caterers. Where is Trinco?     I doubt that the children would like Vietnamese food  although they do like curry and things like chilli con carne, We only have a family meal once or twice a year - this year it is to celebrate a 40th , 53rd,  and 27th birthday- we are both pensioners so we need to keep an eye on prices.  I have in the past cooked for 12 people but it is a tight squash getting everybody in especially as the grandchildren have got older.
