yoga for older people

Recommended Posts

Yoga is for everyone at any age!

In a word, yoga means union. Re-connect your mind and body with this gentle awareness practice.

One to one, or in your own tailor made small groups, I will come to your home and guide you through enjoyable movement and breath work.

We may stand or use chairs, and walls, but there will be no need to get down on the floor. We work from the inside out, so there is no stress or strain on muscles or joints as they are exercised gently in time with the flow of your breath.

I am qualified and experienced: practicing and teaching yoga for over 20 years. I have been teaching yoga to older people (60+) since 2006. I will modify traditional yoga poses to help you achieve all the benefits of a traditional yoga class. By working in smaller groups at home, I help to make yoga and your optimum health accessible and easy. Sessions are ?40-60 depending on time and distance.

    • I would be interested to know too as we and our son really liked it after going round and have heard positive things from parents.
    • Here you go, original post has this link which includes the map: https://haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk/sl15-superloop But here's the direct map: https://haveyoursay.tfl.gov.uk/43267/widgets/136130/documents/93465 It does take the P13 a loooong time to get to Tulse Hill, so actually even just cutting that part of the route out wouldn't be a bad thing for an onward connection.
    • If it's your Wi-Fi that was the problem, that's more likely the router (or the device you were using), not the actual service coming into the router.  I am with plusnet, and whenever mind has been glitchy, I check with a device connected via ethernet cable to the router to see if that is okay.  I've been with them for potentially 15 years now and each time there has been an issue (not many and not plusnets fault, more the infrastructure) I have looked elsewhere, but everyone moans about their providers at some point!  Some more than others.  I often feel it's better the devil you know!
    • I needed someone to fit a new bathroom tap at short notice and Lucasz was on-time, quick and did a great job. No fuss and no mess - will definitely have more jobs for him.
