Hello all you lovely people


Well - after 4 years in this beautiful area in our flat at the top end of Underhill Road in SE22 we have decided to place it on the market and search for a house instead!


We are the proud owners of this magnificent two bed flat. Circa 85 sq m and a massive side return and garden to boot. We invested a chunk of money last year to transform the garden to look all Mediterranean and include a lavender hedge to attract bees! The great thing is at that there is virtually no-one overlooking the garden from the sides or back - it catches the sun until around 7:30pm in the summer (south east facing) and it is surrounded by beautiful mature trees. There is a large decking area and a timber shed to store all your bits and bobs!


We have gradually renovated the interior with polished white oak floorboards throughout, tasteful Farrow and Ball colour schemes and removal of ugly central heating pipes to put them under the floor. There is plenty of room in the side return for expansion if you want to change the layout.


There is offstreet parking (which we own the plot for) on a massive driveway to the front. We have our own private front door in a private courtyard which is idyllic and lovely.


We are listing our lovely flat with a heavy heart, but we are sure that someone will view it and fall in love as we did! They will also fall in love with our amazing neighbours who are generous and friendly. The stretch of Underhill Road is quiet, with large houses and no cramped terraced housing.

    • Is this a popular event? If great demand for this sort of event on such a small space then so be it. It is just with Peckham Common so very close by just wondering why this is considered a preferable venue for this kind of thing?
    • Another recommendation for Jason who is brilliant all-round. He plastered our rooms and hallways (some walls were blown and needed re-boarding), replaced two ceilings and over-boarded one. From the start he was always communicative, happy to pop by to assess first, and transparent about the various options and their associated costs. He worked thoroughly, going above and beyond to make sure every job was finished to a high standard and is very fairly priced, particularly considering the hours he puts in. We’re so pleased with the results of our flat and have already recommended him unreservedly to others. Also helps that he is just a sound guy who’s really easy to chat to!
    • Well let’s put it this way - certainly alot more alert when I am in town than I use to be . Don’t feel unsafe just a lot more cautious and aware of my surroundings.  Tend to avoid walking anywhere in town as in London or Dulwich etc when it gets dark. Personal choice and certainly more people muttering or talking to themselves than before. Witnessed road rage years ago on Ladbrook Grove in broad daylight - memory still haunts me!!
