Got caught in a downpour today and dove into This delightful little coffee shop..

Had a wonderful Cappuchinno.. I'm not a big coffee drinker was this was lovely.

Pleasant staff and cosy atmosphere in this tiny place with some outside seating..

Also has Wi_Fi..

Agreed that SWE and Cafe Viva and Miss Tapas are good but the general state of that bit of Choumert Road - with lots of vegetable/fruit remnants in the gutter and bags/cardboard boxes/general litter strewn around - makes it somewhere you'd not really want to linger.

I agree that it's a bit scruffy Nigello (as is most of Rye Lane and surroundings, to be fair). But it wouldn't stop me going to - and enjoying - any of those places.

yes mostly Blues - don't know who it was but it sounded great - there was some jazzy stuff when we first arrived, sounded like Abdulah Ibrahim or someone, but not aure.

Blues can be OK when it veers away from the template and gets all soulful and stuff.

But I hate it when it's middle aged men in crap hats playing solos over hackneyed 12 bar boogie...
