New Windows - F&E Joinery any good?

We are thinking of having some new windows made and fitted. We have received a quote from F&E Joinery in Herne Hill which seems reasonable, does anyone have any experience of them?

I have used them a few times and have always been happy with their work and prices. I haven't had consistent good experiences with Runcent but I would recommend a joinery company near Loughborough junction on Coldharbour lane. I can't remember the name but they are just by the railway bridge nearest to brixton.

Yes I was suspicious of a low quote from them many years ago! No need - they are fab. Have used them for several bits and bobs as has my husband who needed work done for building projects.

I would avoid F&E Joinery. We've just had two really unpleasant experiences with them, producing things differently to what was agreed (door frames that were warped and a stair handrail that means we now have to remove, respace and refit all our spindles) and then telling us to 'take our business elsewhere!' when we questioned it. Really disappointing.
