Mums in Business Social meeting Thursday 17th Jan 8pm Daisy Lets & Sales Office @5 London Road

Recommended Posts

Hi I hope I can still post this event here, as after 12 years we have moved the group up the road, we are now meeting in the Daisy Lets & Sales office in Forest Hill..

We are having a social meeting on Thursday:

This is an event for members of the Mums in Business Group - we are a group of mums in and around East Dulwich & Forest Hill who own/plan to run their own businesses or freelance. We come together for support, networking and joint working. The group welcomes new members with open arms, even if you are just thinking about setting something up or starting out on your own, and aims to offer a friendly atmosphere in which to explore any issues or questions that members or newcomers might have that month that other members may be able to help with.

We occasionally have speakers to give advice on relevant topics for half an hour or so,do come along at 8pm on Wednesday to Daisy Lets & Sales at 5 London Road SE23 3TW and catch up, meet new and existing members, have a chat and some nibbles and a glass of wine!

Please do let me know if you plan to come so I know numbers in advance, sign up on the Facebook group (request to join if you haven't already as it's a closed group) https://www.facebook.com/groups/1387225511307216/

Don't forget your ?2 donation towards nibbles and drinks ;) any profit will go towards Depaul - the charity I support for homeless young people.

Please do let me know if you plan to come this week so I know numbers in advance, hope to see you there.

Best wishes, Claire

p.s. If you come across this post late on the day, do just come along however.. I look forward to meeting some new faces and some old ones perhaps

Ruth Kudzi is with us this month. Ruth is a Business and Confidence coach who specialises in working with mums who want to start up or develop their own businesses. She is talking to the group about how to use tools that will make you more productive, more successful and more confident. She will be sharing what she has seen working for her and her clients. Do come along!

    • The purge of hard left members that were part of Corbyn's, Mcdonnel's and Lansmans momentum that purged the party of right wing and centrist members. That's politics. It's what Blair did to win, its what Starmer had to do to win. This country doesn't vote in extreme left or right governments. That's partly why Corbyn lost  We're pretty much a centrist bunch.  It doesn't make it false either. It's an opinion based on the voting patterns, demography and statistics. Can you explain then why former mining constituencies that despise the tories voted for them or abstained rather than vote for Corbyns Labour?  What is the truth then? But he never got elected!!! Why? He should have been binned off there and then. Why he was allowed to hang about is an outrage. I hold him party responsible for the shit show that we've had to endure since.
    • Depends on what the Barista says doesnt it? There was no physical confrontation with the driver, OP thinks she is being targetted when she isnt. These guys work min wage under strict schedules so give them a break unless they damage your stuff
    • CPR Dave, attendance records are available on Southwark's website. Maggie Browning has attended 100% of meetings. Jon Hartley has attended 65%.
    • I do hope NOT, wouldn't trust Farage as far as I could throw him, Starmer & co.  He's backed by GB News which focus's predominantly on immigration while the BBC focus predominantly on the Israel - Gazza conflict.
