Carpenter/joiner - sash window rotten frame repair

Hello,

I'm looking for a carpenter/joiner to assess and fix a rotten frame and sill on a large sash window. I've tried all the recommendations I can find on the forum for local joinery companies, but none of the joinery companies seem to perform repairs any longer and are just supplying new windows, and the few carpenters are busy for months ahead - I'm struggling to find someone.

Can anyone recommend someone, or any carpenter/joiner that can do it would you mind messaging me?

Thanks

B

    • I agree. Midnight I can understand when it's celebrating the start of a new year (under whatever system) but not otherwise. Though re the wildlife, it's going to affect them whatever time it is, I don't suppose they know it's gone 11pm!
    • Looking for someone naughty on the ground? What other reason would there be, if it hasn't landed anywhere?
    • Yes I get your gist, but maybe you could just name a few of the very many you mention? I'm not sure why you find it very concerning that somebody would leave Labour for the Greens? So have many people, including me.
    • Were your concerns to do with her, as your MP? If not, then I'm sure she had more than enough to do without taking on things which weren't within her remit! She always took a very proactive role in local issues (eg the closure of the ED delivery office) and she also attended various demos with  local Labour Party members, though I can't now remember which ones (demos, not members!) I thought she was an excellent MP, and I'm sure she still is.
