What's on for teeens(12+) this summer at JAGS Sports Club?

We have LOTS going on this summer at JAGS Sports Club for ages 12+, catering for every taste going! Join us all through the summer from 25th July - 26th August.

The weekly timetable includes:


Mondays, 6-7pm

TeenFlex (12+)

Learn how to stretch and tone your body and master the art of relaxation!

Tuesdays, 12-.12.45pm

TeenCycle (14+)

Come and try out our new CycleFit studio. High intensity spin session with house and drum and bass music

M: Free, NM: ?5


Wednesdays, 1-3pm (11+)

Screen Printing (27th July + 10th August) & Tie Dyeing (3rd August)

Bring tshirts, scarves and bags and upcycle and personalise your wardrobe in these fab creative sessions. Wear old clothes as paint/dye can stain

Wednesdays, 1-3pm (12+)

Softball (3rd & 17th August)

Come along with friends and learn how to play Softball with our Canadian instructor

Wednesdays, 6-7pm

TeenBox (12+)

This fantastic all round work out will have you training like a champ. Expect lots of pad work as well as boxing training techniques including interval training and skipping.

Thursdays, 4-6pm

TeenPong (12+)

Come along with friends and use the ping pong tables... you'll be amazed how quickly you become a master of the pong!

Saturdays, (12+)

Youth Gym (2pm: Beginners, 2.45pm: Advanced)

Learn how to use the gym equipment effectively this summer under guidance. Book beginners if you are new to the class or advanced if you have attended before. Find a workout that is suitable for you and your body

    • Back to my earlier post about familiarity.  I was in Croydon this afternoon walking between the two main stations.  Didn't feel unsafe, but there were some 'interesting' characters on the street.  Not that any were bothered with me. Not a place I'd choose to go for a bit of a fun.  Although having said that West Croydon has some cracking restaurants and the wonderfully named Saints and Sinners bar, where I once went on a corporate do - not that I did many of these. Whoops just checked and it closed a few months ago. Back on track, I never went to the Castle as I felt it was a bit rough.  How wrong was I?  Only real pub left in the area.
    • Wow Sue! I was reading your post with interest as I’ve never really felt unsafe in London and I was born here. It was just your last paragraph that derailed me and totally changed the subject matter! So unnecessary.
    • What made you think it was lost?
    • I'm pretty sure I saw him today near the junction of Lordship Lane and Dulwich common standing by the crossing near the entrance to the woods. Wearing a black trench coat , black trousers and dark timberland style boots his clothes looked somewhat worn and he was looking pretty wild eyed..I was in a car going by and I noticed him standing by the kerb looking somewhat aggrivated. other women please be aware
