Other friends have not been so flattering regarding other staff, but if you can get Pat she really goes the extra mile. MirandaS
I used Peter Russell at Meaby & Co and then my neighbours also used Meaby & Co. We had some complex shared freehold issues which both solicitors resolved very quickly to each of our benefits. AnouskaTamony
Mustafa Hassan of Taylor Rose is a great real estate lawyer, more expensive than a conveyancer but if a more complex transaction then would always recommend a fully qualified solicitor.http://www.taylor-rose.co.uk/meet-the-team/134/mustafa-hassan Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/116047-recommendations-for-conveyancing-solicitor-please/#findComment-1027938 Share on other sites
Lollipop
I am currently using Peter Russell of Meaby & Co. Very pleased with the service and they have been super quick! Cats_pyjamas
I personally wouldn't use anyone in London. We saved about ?500 using someone in the North West. It's largely an admin job so there's no benefit to you living close to the solicitor. Pick an experienced firm which has good reviews but in an area where the property market isn't moving as fast as London (so you don't get snared by their busy workload which happened to us another time) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/116047-recommendations-for-conveyancing-solicitor-please/#findComment-1029781 Share on other sites
