Hi. We need to re pebbledash our garage. Does anyone have a recommendation please? Thank you

My neighbour has a wide variety of things for sale at his garage sale today 52 Champion Hill SE5

This is a load of poppycock. Champion Hill was closedto stop the predominant traffic flow of Peckham to Brixton. Those commuters will not go via East Dulwich as that adds 10 minutes to their journey time at least. They?re using the bus route. The increased flows in East Dulwich are no doubt due to the new Charter and children being dropped off

This is extraordinary. Champion Hill is one of the most residential streets in south Southwark. Hundreds of children from the estates and hundreds of young people from Kings College hall walk its streets daily to get to DKH primary, Lyndhurst or the new Charter or to get to university. The road has been a hazard for years as vehicles, many of which are diesel fuelled vans pour out pollution at pushchair height. In addition those treating the road as a rat run travel very fast, ignoring the give way and often driving on the wrong side of the road as they head north in order not to slow down around the bollards. What sort of society decides a few minutes longer in your car is more important than a child?s life. In addition people need to understand the traffic flows which is that Champion Hill is a rat run between Peckham and Brixton. It?s not going to increase traffic flows except along the bus route.

Home Maid Clean has just cleaned my carpets on the recommendations of others in this thread. I'm very pleased with the results. Thank you! Carpets look like new (and some are 10 years old), paint has come out, cat fur and other unidentifiable marks have also disappeared. Fast, efficient, very pleasant and good value. 0207 205 2528.

After the recommendations on the Forum I rang Maurice yesterday and he fixed my leaking loo today. Wonderful! Reasonably priced and he left everything spotless. I will certainly book him again. Thanks for the recommendation

I've been going to Rocks for over a year now and he is great. I get a good quality cut (and I'm picky having previously been long term clients at both John Frieda and Charles Worthington) and a good colour. He is flexible with timings too and local, just near Denmark Hill station.

My cup of tea was good and the table next to us had the most impressive looking roast meals, which were ?12.95.

That all sounds good to me as we are not looking to be too innovative. Does anyone have any recommendations for a structural engineer please? -
Loft Conversion - recommendations in ED please
Camberwellse5 replied to Ginster's topic in Request a Tradesperson
Classic Lofts did ours and 3 years on we are still REALLY happy with it. All to price and time line but do keep communicating. I recommend a weekly site meeting. My two neighbours used Loft Life and would not recommend them. One neighbour has had to have theirs redone by another company. -
Hi. I have previously used Bob Fowlds at [email protected] just near the Walworth Road and they did a great job. I am just trying Angel on Melbourne Grove as it is closer and therefore easier to get to. She has a great selection of fabrics and was lovely but I haven't seen the result yet!

Extension - Architect/ Builder/ advice!

Hi. I'm also trying to find out what I have to do. We'll need planning permission and I don't know whether I need an architect or structural engineer and now I'm struggling to find a builder. Any ideas? Do they come as a 'package'? Thanks -
Any Recommendation for Architect for Side Return Extension

I also want a recommendation for an architect and a good builder. I see Design Squared is recommended - do they work with specific builders or do you have recommendations for builders too? Many thanks
