Has anyone else noticed this particular employee? He's my favourite!*

Whenever he's on duty at the self-service checkout, my heart leaps, because he just puts so much enthusiasm into his work. If the machine doesn't like my bags, or it is surprised by an item I've put in the bagging area, or my bottle of sherry needs authorising, he will be there to deal with it in a flash. He's always got his eye open for customers who need help, unlike some who you practically need to drag by the elbow to get them to swipe their little card over the scanner. One time I saw him rush over so fast he was literally skidding to a halt to avoid colliding with the customer.

Anyone else noticed him, or know him? I think he should know how much his work is appreciated.

*not my favourite in a sexual way; that honour goes to a unnamed blonde who I used to see around kitchenware and clothes but hasn't been around for a while.

Yes, I know him, and agree entirely. He's excellent, always very friendly and happy to help.

You should copy the comments on this thread and email them to Sainsbury's head office, I'm a firm believer in passing on positive comments in a world where generally only the negative get highlighted.

    • Having work done , lots of bags of bricks to dispose of . I could make several trips on my car or get permit and go with builder in his van.  Is this allowed ? It won't be me, the. Southwark resident, driving . How much does a permit cost? Apologies Admin if United should be in the lounge.

    • Hello.  A parcel for someone at 64B Blenheim Grove has been dumped at my address.  If anyone from 64B is in this forum, please get in touch!
    • CPR Dave is anti-dogs. Each to their own  I think my dog has perhaps grown a bit less nervy about the fireworks in the last few weeks, interestingly. Our last dog had no problems with them until he reached old age, when he became petrified.  CPR Dave - it's not just sounds of the metropolis they hate, mine collapses in fear when he hears thunder too
