  1. Free school meals for all primary age children. Great schools. Beautiful green spaces.
  2. Oh dear. 1. "...me and my children love this shop" - That's because you work there. 2. "...a member of staff on she hilarious & always makes us laugh think her name Sarah" - That's you. You are Sarah. 3. "...not forgetting Jo so helpful" - Would that be Joanne Coe? I'll hazard a guess that she is your sister or mother as you both work there and have the same surname. You really have to get up much earlier to pull the wool over the eyes of this group, we've seen at all before,
  3. I think so too, and looking for info now as trying to build a case against the 2 arrested.
  4. Testing... Looks like i'm still here.
  5. Got our bill last week - about ?10 extra per month, which could be worse I guess. Still a little bitter about the cost of living rebate, just because I live in a Band E property, really does not mean I can afford the rise in the cost of living. My electricity bills like many other will still be going through the roof. Who decided that having a Band E house makes you rich?

  8. Shame but obvs understandable.
  9. Thanks all. Somewhere quiet for the older ones to study whilst that can.
  10. Anyone know if local libraries still open at present?
  11. Ignore Snoopy17, It's not the first time s/he has tried blaming the victim of crime on here. There is CCTV in the car park, it may be worth contacting Sainsburys or checking with the nursery. I live on the route you mentioned and will keep an eye out, they could also have got on a P13?

  13. > If a working mum needs some help, so what? Exactly - So one working mum should not be so hard on what could be another working parent for charging what they charge for their time/craft. I'm a working mum - I don't have much time these days to bake and decorate cakes, so I buy from the supermarket. I have looked at the price of handmade cakes, it's a luxury that I cannot afford but I can see why they cost what they do.
  14. I genuinely hardly have a problem with any of the staff in there - I find them mostly helpful and friendly. There are a few grumpier ones who I tend to avoid. I do find though that it's really obvious when they are due a 'store visit' as the shelves are all full and neat, It was the same when I worked for Woolworths many years ago, the shop always looked at its best when management were coming to visit - it shouldn't be this way, it should be fully stocked for the customers, not just for when someone from Head Office is coming to look around. Another thing I have noticed is that since the staffing restructure last year, there seem to be a lot of junior management stacking shelves from roll cages - the other day, 12 of them were stocking bakery at the same time, all in suits and with around 6 cages out in one aisle..?

Well said, I stopped buying trees at the EDT years ago as found the pricing inconsistent and the sellers a little rude and pushy. We were priced out of buying real trees a few years back when Plantnation closed down (Could get a 7ft delivered for ?30-40!) so makes no difference to us - good luck to them all, a little competition may stop the local sellers becoming complacent. That said - As I've said above - I do take some issue with the use of public land but it is only for a month.

The small park surrounded by roads including a main bus route? I'd be surprised if you could hear the generators or notice the increase in fumes over what is already there. I somewhat agree over the issue of public land use but not the complaints of fumes and noise on a very busy road that is already full of fumes and noise...

    Fireworks

Not complaining, just wondering where they are, looks like a pretty big display, anyone have any idea?
  18. I currently have nothing since decorating but am planning on getting some photos I have taken enlarged, mostly of local landscape scenes.

Unless of course, they are allowed to put stuff up on their walls or they don't use nails.

I suspect, having been through a very traumatic experience and possibly still undergoing treatment for the injuries sustained,Patricia may not see coming back to update the forum as a priority and I doubt that the people who wished her well did so for her personal thanks! I do hope you are well Patricia and I hope that now the police are involved and there is a photo, the person can be found and dealt with appropriately. I hope that you are able to continue your day to day life without fear.
  23. I did find a 4 - My brothers old address on East Rochester Way (The A2). Every address I seem to put in locally is a 3 though.
