  1. Ointment.
  2. I don't think you should be donating something that is not yours to a charity shop full stop. Expensive or not. As said before put a note on a tree/fence on the green or put the jacket back.
  3. Sounds like the perfect plan dbboy. That said, if it is so vital to all of these schools, why is it still under subscribed? I can absolutely see why you are upset Yas, but I think Fairlawn are making the most sensible decision here. dbboy Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Has anyone considered approaching the management > teams at Horniman, Holy Trinity, St Barts and > Kilmorie Primary Schools and Lewisham Council to > see if they are interested in forming a > partnership to take over the running of the > nursery? 4. Is this the Annexe on Waldenshaw Road? If so it's been there a lot longer than 23 years, I left there around 35 years ago! Such a shame that the school can't keep it going any more, though that being the case, the decision is unavoidable, it would be nice to see the site continue to be used as a nursery.
  5. Yesterday my daughter's Ty Olaf the snowman toy was dropped somewhere around Greendale/Dulwich Hamlet/Sainsburys. Also my son has realised this morning that he has lost his Oyster card in its sleeve with his Santander debit card in, possibly in the vicinity of Charter/ED Grove/Dog Kennel Hill. Please let me know if you've seen any of these around! Many thanks.
  6. There are also plans to install one on Ivanhoe Road.
  7. Buses should be going at 20 anyway. It's been 20mph across Southwark for some time and across Lambeth at least since we drove through a few weeks ago. ETA: Just looked up and Lambeth doesn't kick in until April 2016, perhaps they're making people aware?
  8. Bessemer Grange. It's 10min walk from DH station and has a nursery for 2 year olds as well as breakfast and after school clubs. I can't praise the school enough and there are lots of parents on the ED Forum with children there. There's also Mother Goose nursery on Greendale, again about 10 mins from DH which I've heard good things about.
  9. I could tell you but I'd have to kill you.
  10. There've been posters on Ivanhoe since before Christmas regarding a black cat picked up by the RSPCA, I'm sure you're seen them but thought I should bring them to your attention just in case.
  11. I watch it a couple of times a year nowadays. I caught the New Years Day episode where Danny Dyer killed Dean then brought him back to life while Shirley from Sainsburys and Jacko from Brush Strokes looked on.
  12. Any of the DIY shops in ED but Seans on Grove Vale always gets my vote, very helpful staff.
  13. I was in Sainsbury's at around 5o'clock, just after kicking out time at DHFC, it was like Christmas Eve in there, packed solid, lots of DH scarves and caps, Sainsbury's don't do too badly out of the club on match days, I guess they turn a blind eye for this reason.
  14. Tick tick tick tick boom.
  15. Sorry to thread crash but does anyone have any experience of pain post birth? My youngest is now 9 months and I still have trouble turning over in bed and pain after walking fast!
  16. Desmond went missing yesterday (11/11/15) between Ivanhoe Road and Bessemer Grange via Camberwell Grove, Denmark Hill and Greendale. Please keep your eyes peeled for him! Thank you.
  17. Just thought I would add that I have used the bulky waste service many, many times and have never had a problem. It's a shame that they may have to start charging.
  18. Southwark will collect it for free as bulky waste.
  19. We never had them delivered unless we requested them, and I didn't find out until I last requested them It's a shame, I do think it will stop people separating their food waste. I'm having to buy from Sainsburys now at ?3 a roll.
  20. OK... So where do the good folk of ED and the surrounds get their girls hair cut?
  21. Where's good, reasonably priced and local for a simple trim? Thanks in advance.
  22. Apparently similar has happened just up the road in Grove Hill Road so yes, please be aware.
  23. Love Southwark's bulk refuse service, though we put a washing machine and dryer out a few weeks back and they were gone before Southwark got a chance, one man's trash and all that.
  24. I presume Stringvest means the car washers in Sainsbury's car park.
