Hi Jeremy, my lovely childminder has vacancies at the mo, she is based on Denmark Hill, about a 5 min walk from the station, may be a bit far from you but let me know if you'd like details.
Congrats to your daughter and to The Charter for their best ever A Level results, 98% of pupils got their first choice of university! We are so lucky to have such a successful school locally. My oldest son and friends get their GSCE results next week, here's to more great results.
If you couldn't identify it, it was a UFO :-) I saw one once, about 10 years ago, black, cigar shaped, not moving, very high up. Still don't know what it was.
I'm pretty sure the 678 figure is people interested in a secondary school full stop. Not necessarily a Haberdashers, the majority of that number expressed their interest before any specific schools were mentioned, no? To say that one is 'clearly ahead' of the other is totally unfair, the provider will be chosen by the DfE, not a vote on an internet forum so no-one can put themselves 'ahead'.
So pleased it wasn't just me being dim! Anyone have any idea if the footpath route to Greendale will be compromised? As said, the drawings aren't very clear. Maybe Ladygooner, or some sort of flyover!
Forgive me if I'm reading this wrong, but if they extend the park, how do people who live in Abbotswood and the surrounding roads drive to their homes?
It was also on BBC news last week. Shocking that they seemingly tried to keep it quiet. Just out of interest, I noticed on the leaflet that came through our door that the planned new school is being referred to as 'Hatcham East Dulwich', no sign of 'Haberdashers' or 'Askes'. Is there a reason for this?
