bumpy
Have some friends coming over for one of their 40th's but they're not Londoners so always want to go out centrally. :-( I'd prefer to avoid this so any suggestions for great restaurants, cocktails & even dancing would be most appreciated. Happy to travel just don't fancy the West End much. Thanks Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/11737-40th-birthday-celebrations/ Share on other sites
????
If it's Saturday it will be carnage in London 'cos of World Cup...I'd try and persuade them to stay local. Miss P
Personally I'd have a lovely meal at The Palmerston and then head to the cocktail bar at Beauberry House (cabs from Panther on North Cross Road). I haven't been to Beauberry House for a while, but I had a meal & a couple of drinks there a while ago. The food (at the time) wasn't great, but the bar is beautiful. I'd go on a recce if I were you....good excuse for a Dirty Martini or two...and you could check out the restaurant while you're there.
