killer cat

Recommended Posts

I have a friend who is a vet and she claims this is quite typical cat behaviour. She says it is because the cat sees you as part of its family and so feels the need to bring you food every morning. She reckons that if you feed the cat every morning whilst you are also eating breakfast, the cat will see you are well fed and stop bringing you home more food. I have pointed out that I never get time to sit down and eat breakfast, but perhaps you will be able to? It all sounds a bit "animal psychobabble" to me, but then again I'm not a vet!

No advice, but has your 'situation' changed at all recently? My best friend has two cats, and when she had her first baby her moggies kept bringing her dead things. Same thing happened second time around, but they hid the dead things this time :/

The only thing that worked for me and my Mum was to act REALLY REALLY PLEASED when we found yet another mangled sparrow, because they're meant to be 'gifts' apparantly. Odd creatures.
