ceebeebee
I was sick as a dog all Sunday night (which never happens), then spent monday feeling like I'd had 7 bells knocked out of me. went to work tuesday, but had to return to bed today when the runs kicked in.... yuk!! My 4 year old was sick once on Sunday night, and seemed immediately better and thought it was hilarious that I'd been sick too! I'm still feeling terrible and not eating (although no longer sick)... can anyone tell me when I'll feel better??? hpsaucey
Yup. My other half. I'm afraid to say he was knocked out by it for well over a week. He has other underlying issues however so was probably weakened.Hope you feel better soon!!! The Nappy Lady
It is a really nasty bug - I've heard of it hanging around for up to a month - it can come and go which is really frustrating and depressing. My advice would be to get some pro biotics from Health Matters - the really expensive ones that they keep in the fridge, and stick to no dairy and starchy food like plain mashed potaoes or boiled rice for a few days. It is really boring, but it is the best way to shift it once and for all.Molly Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/11821-has-anyone-else-adult-had-this-awful-vomiting-thing/#findComment-332980 Share on other sites
hpsaucey
I'll second the Health Matters probiotics. Have used them for OH/kiddies when needed. Bellenden Jo
Yep, I've had the poo and puke bug too - not pleasant. But with me it only lasted 24 hours, although took another couple of days to recover properly. Touch wood the kids haven't had it. ceebeebee
Thanks very much for your advice -I'm hoping for Bellenden Jo's strain of the virus rather than Molly's! It really is horrible and I still feel totally knocked out, but off to Health Matters tomorrow. Thanks all!
