cars for sale LL

James,

Not content with commandeering scarce parking spaces on L.L. for his stock of cars for sale, this trader is now placing cars on the pavement.

Apart obstructing the pavement, he has erected bollards and drilled 12 bolt holes for them through the paving slabs.

Your views please.

The broken bollard on the end is really dangerous! I noticed how sharp it was when I walked past last week.

Because having multiple subjects or matters on a single thread just complicates matters. One subject per thread is the way most fora are organised.

Maybe better to have a dedicated area for Council matters?

quite often shops own/rent the bit of paement in front - how else do cafes get to put their cute little tables in place

I'd like to know legal it is to have John Alan Flowers taking up the space they do on the pavement? I can't believe they own that much of it. It is so close to the crossing and road.......dangerous when you have to move to avoid them. It gets very crowded on the pavement at that end of LL.

haha, green goose just boosted his advertising!

as alice said it depends whether the freehold/lease for the shop includes the section of pavement in front of the shop, if it does then he is perfectly in his rights to park the cars there and put up this barrier, but he should be responsible enough to keep it in a safe condition!
