Residential Holiday Camps

Hello,

Just wondering if it is a good idea to send your kids on a residential holiday camp over the Summer holidays? They start from 7 upwards.

Love to hear from views/opinions and experiences.

My older daughter (12) went to PGL last year and this year and absolutely loved it. She went with a friend and there was essentially a BOGOF deal which made it very good value. PGL have been around for years - I remember my younger sister going 30 years ago.

Thirty years ago, aged ten, I went to Camp Beaumont which I think still exists. It was wonderful. I still have vivid memories (mostly of riding a motorbike which I'd promised I wouldn't do and holding hands with a boy called Mark.)

One of the best weeks ever!
