I started my first job aged 14 years old at McDonald's. Earning my own money was the best feeling in the world. Such a shame if young people have the desire to work but the opportunities are not there. Seems more and more jobs now and in the future are for the academically able.

Hi, Just wondering if your child worked part-time and if so, what job do they have? When I was young there was lots of low/entry level jobs, e.g. supermarket, retail, paper round etc. but with self-checkouts taking over everywhere I was wondering what do young people do now?
