Can you help ?

I wasn't sure which section to put this in.... Apologies if I'm in the wrong area .

My husband is running the New York marathon in Nov of this year.He has already ran the London marathon twice, both times running for children's charities. This year he really wants to help/ sponsor a local family/ person who may need help in raising money either for treatment, medical equipment etc.....

Neither of us are sure how to go about looking/finding out about this.

Can anyone point us point us in the right direction ??

How about asking at your local GP surgery or Kings' Hospital PALS?
