  1. I actually found the 1 to 2 not that bad at all.... Like you ClareC our second was born when our first was just 15 mths old. I found it easy in the fact that NO 1 was still having daytime naps and was really not aware of no 2's arrival at all. I think I have found it a little harder over the past few months as NO 2 is coming up for 2years..... BUT they do play so so well together, which is a godsend in itself... We have an OUTNABOUT little nipper side by side pushchair, BRILLIANT !!! I couldn't have managed without it...
  2. I've been reading all of your comments and I appreciate you all taking the time to write about your own personal experiences.... I seem to be swaying from a definite yes, to a maybe, or a definite no each day !!! I can see ourselves just getting on with our two children at the mo, but then again I think how lovely it would be for our oldest daughter to remember having a baby around as she was only 15mths when our little boy was born and I know she would just adore a litlle baby in the house. I guess now that we are moving and will actually have our families very close by is slightly making me think yes more than no . I think I've done the hardest job of 0 to 1 then 1 to 2 with no family help at all...... I also have it in my head that if we do go for number 3 then ideally I'd really like to have the baby in this year as the following year I am turning 40 and I think that in it's self is enough to cope with !!!!!
  3. Thank you for your replies.... I think I'm decided on ONE more... Off to the doctors today to remove the coil so we'll just see how things go. Although my app isn't until this afternoon so I still have time to change my mind !! Eeekkk !
  4. I used the Avent manual pump. Firstly, have you got all the little bits in place on the pump ?. I also found that I had to hold the rubber part of the pump quite hard against my breast... Sorry if not much help.
  5. I'll show this to my husband later and he'll be ecstatic !!!! Although we have over the past six months sold/given away every last bit of 'BABY" parapheralia that we still had hanging around !!
  6. Thank you sillywoman....Makes great sense to me... Was also thinking that if we "got on with it" by the time no 3 arrives both 1 and 2 would be at nursery for some of the time... Hmmmm, food for thought.
  7. Well my husband has now decided that he would love us to have another baby !!???!!! ARRGGHHH !! I really thought that we were done at 2 !! We had our two children quite close together with only a 15mth gap between them. Our youngest is turning 2 in May. We are also moving to Sth Derbyshire in 10 days and I think my husband just thinks new house, with a lot more room = time for another baby.... At first I was absolutely set against the idea, but now I'm just confused !!!! I'm really happy with our lovely two, but now I've got myself thinking maybe just one more ?????? Will it really be that much harder from 2 to 3 ???
  8. Hi there we bought this car seat for our daughter and she loves it. It so easy to transfer between cars too. When mu younger son is big enough we shall move him into one of these as well... Kiddy comfort pro
  9. I always use Lavender oil on a muslin next to the bed. Karvol drops also help.
  10. Sorry to Billy for the above comment on your thread.
  11. WOW... Zeban, thanks for that. I have also worked for many other families around the area. I was only trying to help out Billy by asking a few questions. Thanks for your rather abrupt response.
  12. Does your nanny work full time for both of you ? How long has she been with you ?? I always received a raise every year, without fail .
  13. Having worked as a nanny I would definitely say yes to having tea, coffee and juice available and a sandwich or something to snack on. I'm assuming that your nanny will pop out at some point in the day so that your baby can get some fresh air. I would always grab myself something to drink or eat when out. But otherwise, I would be quite happy to make myself and my boss a sandwich at the same time....

    Cake

Claridges or Fortnum and Mason ?
  15. Well Zeban, as I said I has been with the family for 5 years. And as they both worked as Stockbrokers , and as they got their bonuses , they always gave me one too.
