James Delarre and Saul Rose combine thrilling fiddle performances with some of the finest melodeon playing. Inspired by more than fifteen years of appearing on the folk music scene, this new duo harnesses all the subtleties of traditional music while producing an exciting and energetic display of musicianship. Together they produce a full range of melodic and harmonic flavour with flowing melodies, rich harmony and considered vocal delivery. As firm friends the joy with which this pair experience music together is hypnotic, captivating and addictive.

James Delarre:- has been playing the violin from a young impressionable age, being mostly self taught he is the product of a musical family. He has from his late teens been working as a professional musician, most notably with Jim Moray, Mawkin:Causley, Mawkin (a band formed with his brother), Lauren McCormick and more recently as a duo with Saul Rose and Topette (an exciting new project with Andy Cutting, Barnaby Stradling, Julien Cartonette and Tania Buisse) as well as an appearance with Bellowhead on the Jools Holland Hootenaney. James has gone on to perform on set for the BBCs ?Peaky Blinders? and ?Londons Calling? he has also performed on two forthcoming feature films with BBC, Fox Searchlight and Ruby Films.

Saul Rose:- is one of the best Melodeon players in the country. He?s best known for his work with the Kings of Calicutt and Waterson Carthy, has been a professional folk musician on and off since his late teens. A player involved with traditional music via a morris dancing past; from playing music for dancing and the dancing itself, and has been doing so for pretty much all of his life. He has been playing melodeon since he was 10.

Rob Johnston is a unique guitarist who blends his brilliant technique with different playing styles and influences. He is part of an evolving tradition of acoustic guitar playing drawing on a classical background as well as world and folk roots. His material has a folk/roots base but is very eclectic, with the odd looping technology thrown in!

    • I’m basing it on the fact that Jeremy Corbyn had repeatedly and on record said he is against mandatory vaccinations in any situation, and he wouldn’t disclose wether he had the Covid vaccine himself    as I said. Not as bad as his brother but very definitely a bit weird about the whole thing. Just say you had the vaccination Jeremy, say that everyone should and stop being weird in the middle of a global pandemic    it’s the same slippery evasive nonsense about Brexit and him. About Putin poisonings and him.     if you are happy with his evasiveness then you do you.  But there is a reason the country wouldn’t get behind him
    • It was my understanding that Jeremy Corbyn was embarrassed by his brother and had distanced himself from his brother's views. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Why on earth should "the overall view of that family inform Jeremy's response to the pandemic"? What exactly are you basing that assumption on?
    • I guess it's best to do what most Brits do these days, keep your head down and say nothing! although that's probably why this country is in the mess it is today!  😞
