KidKruger
had something similar recently, also when I used bathroom taps/shower. turned out to be worn-out ceramic washer on the kitchen sink mixer tap. apparently the worn ceramic washer allowed air to be sucked up through kitchen tap when water was drawn upstairs and this caused the symptom of banging pipes. when I sussed the cost / hassle of replacing the washer wasn't much less than a basic mixer tap, I replaced the mixer tap keeping the old one as a spare. LadyNorwood
Very childish I know, but I really, really laughed when I read the subject line.... Do you need a plumber or a doctor?
