I have a used beddinge sofa for sale very cheap. Info about it here on Ikeas site http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/S99089423/

Mine doesn't have the lovely cover sadly, but I used to use a king size duvet cover which if adjusted properly works just aswell! The click clack needs perhaps some adjustment as sometimes it clicks but doesn't clack or maybe that's the other way around?! It has to be the comfiest sofa bed I have slept on and none of my guests have ever complained. Easily and comfortable sleeps two generously sized people too. The base is sprung slatted and the mattress has springs too. As a sofa it is also comfortable and easily seats three people, plus you can sleep on it as a sofa very comfortably.

I am only parting with this as I have another sofa coming and will be using a smaller pop up bed for guests. Ideally I need it gone tomorrow.

*the strange mottling on mattress is my light shade.

    • Thanks. I'll call them shortly as I could get there without the car.
    • One time Sainsbury's delivered 6 bags of apples instead of 6 single apples which I couldn't possibly get through. I phoned Pecan in Peckham to ask if they would accept them despite their website stating no fresh foods. I must have phoned at just the right time as they were happy to accept them. Sainsburys gave me a refund so the donation was courtesy of them. Or you could experiment with all kinds of apple recipes and write a blog about it
    • There's a food bank off Dog Kennel Hill. Albrighton Community Fridge. https://www.albrightoncommunityfridge.org/ I'm sure they would welcome them, but maybe check first, as they don't actually mention fresh fruit on their website? But apples aren't that perishable. Drop off seven days a week 9 - 5. Be warned if you are going by car, parking can be very difficult, easiest if there are two of you so one person can take the food in while the other can move the car if necessary.
    • Food banks for sure and what about approaching these schools in area that run summer camps - although having said that with health and safety being so strict might not allow it - crazy really.    Can’t remember name of church but was one in Peckham that from memory did a community meal a couple of times a week. Now they for sure would take them and probably Kingswood House as well.
