Just had our tatty old white PVC windows painted grey by UPVC Painters. Felt like a bit of a gamble as we thought you couldn't paint plastic but they have done an amazing job. Look like brand new windows but at a tiny fraction of the cost it would have been to install them.   Do you mean The Dream Machine? Used to sell vinyl and musicians used to go there and play? Don't know about the hifi repair! If that's what you are thinking of, I can put you in touch with the guy who used to run it if you PM me.
