Solomon advised us about severe foot pain my daughter was experiencing after some very irritating and unresponsive experiences with the nhs. He was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Another recmomendation for Aston. Fixed two door handles on hollow doors, put a bead of silicone around some tiles, repaired a leaking tap, a shower door that was hitting the frame, put a TV and a whiteboard on the wall. Highly efficient, excellent workmanship and a lovely guy. Not the cheapest I suspect but you get what you pay for. Deserves every one of these good reviews

Another recommendation for Gary. Rapidly diagnosed and fixed a tripped switch on the fuse board that wouldn't return to the "on" position. Also replaced an outdoor socket and a light switch and showed us how to use our underfloor heating! Lovely guy, friendly service, great price. Totally deserves all the recommendations on here

Did this walk last weekend - half hour drive and it takes you through the middle of gorgeous bluebell woods and countryside https://www.bromley.gov.uk/download/downloads/id/780/darwins_footsteps_-_downe_valley_trail.pdf We got a bit lost on the way back to Biggin Hill mind so google maps came to the rescue

We have a couple of lamps that need repairing. The bits the bulbs go in are wobbly and we need to check they are properly earthed. Thanks in anticipation

The Dulwich Sports Club display warmed up to a reasonably good finale last night. Long, long queues for food and charging ?5 a pop for a can of Fosters stuck in the craw though - particularly when you've paid ?8/?10 per ticket.

A vote here for the Butchery opposite Sainsbury's. We made rare burgers with their aged minced beef last week. Costs were a bit higher than Sainsbury's but quality was infinitely higher - and who would risk cooking supermarket minced beef rare.

Another recommendation for Benchmark Lofts. Tom has been brilliant to deal with from the outset. Solution focused and with aesthetic sensibility - brilliant and imaginative design ideas that are you'd struggle to find among "geezer" builders or job lot loft firms. He's on site every day from 7am ish before his guys arrive and his guys have been happy to work 6 and sometimes 7 day weeks. His quote came in equally affordable to the others we sought and every one of his subcontractors and labourers have been pleasant and professional and all describe loving working for him. I would not hesitate to recommend him and as with others would be happy to expand if you PM me. -
Just had our tatty old white PVC windows painted grey by UPVC Painters. Felt like a bit of a gamble as we thought you couldn't paint plastic but they have done an amazing job. Look like brand new windows but at a tiny fraction of the cost it would have been to install them. Lawrence 07875 730228 is a great guy, responsive and easy to deal with and I highly recommend this firm. Welcome to drive by if you want to PM me for my address.

Reunited - Is this your black and white cat?

Owner here. Thanks to Sandra and Bernie and the existence of this wonderful forum he is now happily reunited with his twin brother. He is too friendly for his own good though and follows anyone who passes by and strokes him. Other than keeping him in the house we're really not sure what we can do. If anyone has tips they'd be warmly received. Anyway thanks once again to Sandra and Bernie x -

Hi our 9 month old black and white kitten has gone awol around the Tewkesbury lodge estate (Ringmore Rise / Liphook crescent / horniman drive). He has a little white stripe on his nose. He's cute and friendly and has recently taken to following strangers. This may be what's happened. Please call 07834 070270 if you've seen him. Thanks

Another massive recommendation for Wayne. He completed a full valet on our Touran inside and out ready to go into Autotrader. He arrived at 10am this morning, worked non-stop all day. Unbelievable work ethic, lovely guy and the car is absolutely immaculate. http://www.waaprestige.co.uk/about-ishimoto/
