Dining chair restoration

Does anyone know how to restore wooden dining chairs with cushion seat pads? I just need the basics. I can probably get from tube but if anyone has any tips or knowledge to impart then let me know. If anyone is really into this and wants to chat to me I would be very pleased - I am not wanting someone to do it for me. Jenny

Can you post a photo? I've restored wooden furniture as a hobby before so may be able to give some pointers, although by no means an expert.
