My son's scooter was stolen last night in MELBOURNE GROVE close to the corner of the short stretch ,where you drive in from East Dulwich Grove go towards Sainsbury's!!!

Did anyone hear or see anything last night? The cut through the locks and left one behind!

And his friend's scooter was stolen too last night in Rosendale Road close to the Rosendale Pub where the shops are!!!

Hope they make lots of money.......

Hi Attribute

I live on that stretch and didn't hear a thing, sorry. There is a Deliveroo station in the Solicitor's car park by the shops, their delivery men go up and down the road a lot, as do the Domino's delivery men, you could check with both those places. Il Mirto is closed for their summer holidays otherwise I'd suggest checking with their driver too.

Sorry to hear about this.

Hi Galileo

Thank you for your message! Will go and ask them. Apparently lots of scooters and mopeds have been stolen in this area recently.

Just heard from the police today that they found bits of his scooter in a garage somewhere!!

Thank you and take care

    • Hi!  I was wondering whether anyone had a birth pool that they are looking to sell? Thanks! Sarah
    • @Rumbero Just as I had suspected. The meter is outside under the pavement with an easy access metal cover and so I shall be taking regular readings from now on for about the next 60 days. Then I will have an accurate measure of consumption. There is a device immediately under the cover connected to the meter which guess sends the data to TW.
    • Yes - the fact they go long on how awful the other adult was but seem a bit reluctant to talk about their own behaviour! If you actually read the OP, their argument with the man wasn't about the kid hitting him, but about OP being told that their "reaction was over the top". Well, OK, then, OP - what was that reaction? OP then says "As I walked away, I heard him and two other adults talking and laughing about my reaction – yes, laughing." That's an interesting detail. Many possibilities here. Is the world is so chock full of sadists that even casual onlookers cackle at the sight of someone being smacked into by a 4 year old on a bike? Did OP make a bit of a tit of themselves with their reaction? Or something else entirely? We'll never really know because we don't have both sides of the story - in fact, not even a complete one-sided story...
    • Do you have any reason, other than malice, to doubt the OP's two posts setting out what happened?
