We have now used Rick Foster (of Rickplumb247) three times (for different problems!) - he has been very quick to come round (always within 24 hours), sorted the problem swiftly and explained what he was doing clearly. And cleans up after himself! Would highly recommend (details below) - NOT to be confused with the other Rick who has got some negative reviews on here.

Rick came to sort a really stubborn problem we were having with a blocking loo and bath not drainingg where it should. Despite being a 'messy' problem/s, he sorted it without any major drama whatsoever. Can't recommend him too highly. Remember, he is rickplumb247 with a phone number of 07860633220...don't confuse him with anyone of a similar name - he is a really genuine nice guy and truly the 'dog's bits.'       I know people won’t have any sympathy but the SEND challenge was brought up when taxing parents who have opted for independent school to meet a child’s SEND needs. Funding crisis is getting worse and the VAT on Education pushed children out of independent schools, now their SEND needs are to be met by the state.

      I completely agree with you - and last night was really terrible where I am. Between midnight and 1am was the worst, where it genuinely felt like a war zone. I had to run out of my house to try and stop a grown man setting them off in open space right by our front doors. In response he went to throw a half lit one at me and then seemed to think better of it. I am so sad at how bad the situation has got here and how selfish people are. Fireworks are bad for the environment and for pets and wildlife, as well as just being unnecessary noise for people too. I have sent an email today to Helen Hayes, which I have done previously on this issue. Would advise anyone to write to your MP to do the same, and to ask them to engage with the debates scheduled for 19 Jan.
