ETA: You quite unnecessarily have a go at another poster's punctuation etc, and when I call you out on it you then take the opportunity to have a go at my posts as well.

I have no intention of changing what I say on here or the way I say it because you don't like it - rather ironic that you say that I am policing the forum then proceed to tell me what to do!

Perhaps you'd like to give some examples of my "constant needling", "bullying", "self righteous indignation" and "verbal curtain twitching".

I'm not holding my breath.

Oh, and I have had a very productive weekend thank you, but hey ho, I must go and make some more "meaningless comments and sanctimonious twitterings", whatever they are.

If you're having trouble finding examples of posts I have made which bear out your criticisms of me, you can click on my name and all my forum posts will come up. I look forward to seeing your list.

And I don't see how you could assert so confidently that a poster was not dyslexic and that English was their first language unless you knew them in real life, which in my opinion would make your criticism of them even ruder.

And even if they are not dyslexic, some people find writing difficult. In the past some posters have stopped posting on here because of unkind people criticising things like their spelling, punctuation and typos.

This is supposed to be a community forum. Community to my mind is about support, not personal comments completely irrelevant to the content of somebody's post.

Oh dear. Meanwhile, one of the cashiers told me the robbers had guns. He added that they approached from the back of the store but it was 'a mystery' how they got in. It was just before midnight. Unfortunately, a member of staff was injured and is in hospital. He confirmed two of the gunmen were caught. Two others at large. There was a long queue so I didn't feel able to ask more questions. Let's hope the employee has a speedy recovery.

Really odd, this being the case, that there's no trace of it being reported anywhere I can find, one would have thought an employee injured by a gang of armed robbers would at least make the Standard and BBC local news.

Aggravated burglary definition: essentially, having a weapon wth you when burgling. Maximum penalty, life imprisonment.

Yes I know, I'm not arguing with the charge they've been given, just curious as to why if, as another poster mentioned above they'd been told, a staff member was injured, it hasn't been mentioned in the press reports. I see one of the criminals is charged with assault on a police officer, perhaps wires have got crossed.

The cashier definitely said it was a member of staff who was injured. He seemed quite concerned. It is odd it wasn't reported. Maybe the co-op is playing it down so as not to scare off customers. They're probably understandably traumatised.

Be careful now what we say about this case. Charges have been brought which means the case is 'live', so anything that could be seen as influencing the jury or judge would be contempt of court, bringing severe penaltires to the poster and the forum.
