I've been given an older iphone and currently have contract with Orange Racoon 25 ?25 a month which I am pretty happy with, phoned them today to see if I can use iphone and they say they want an extra ?10 a month which I think is expensive as this would bring it up to price of contract where you actually get newer phone free, there are 9 months left on my contract. I am awaiting supervisor to call me back anyone got any ideas how to negotiate on this one thanks.

Mockney - try restoring it and then reinstalling. It helped with my 3G that I'd upgraded.

I did at one point find a guide to downgrading the 3G but it's a bit technical - will dig it out if you find it useful though.

?35 seems ridiculous though - although perhaps it's due to you being in contract. O2 switched my Mum to a ?15 a month one to use my old iPhone.

    • I really don't want to use anything which could cause serious harm to foxes, or indeed to the cats which come into my garden to sit still and silent beneath the bird feeders. This has got worse since rambling  roses were cut back by my back fence, so I need to sort that out, though I don't think rose thorns deter foxes. Though maybe you weren't replying to me, sorry if so!
