Antique Shabby chic chest of drawers & mirror top / dressing table

I love this piece of furniture! I bought it from Greenwich Market 10 years ago and it's moved with me 3 times since but sadly I don't think it's going to fit the space or style of our new house :(

It has 3 deep drawers and the mirror top as seen (which usually has my perfume and jewellery draped all over it!).

The back fastening of the mirror is a bit loose and we make do by propping a little box behind it to keep it steady but if we'd been less lazy it just needs screwing in again at the back. Or the whole mirror section can be removed.

It's got obvious wear and tear as shown, which is part of the appeal. The drawers are in perfect working order though.

Drawers measure 75cm high and 110cm wide. Height with mirror is approx 160cm

It's a heavy piece too.

Would like ?175 or near offer and pls email if you have any questions.

Collection from SE23

(Radio and baby not included by the way!!)

    • Hello! We are relocating abroad and so will be withdrawing our two children (ages 4 and 6) from St Dunstan’s College (Catford). If any family is considering enrolling children of a similar age, now would be an excellent opportunity—we’re required to pay full‑term fees unless the places are taken. Please get in touch if you’re interested or know someone who might be. Thank you!

    • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
