My family (husband, toddler, baby & myself) are looking for places to stay in and around SE22 during September.

We are having building work done on our house and it won't be in a suitable state for us to return too and we need to be out of our temporary accomodation at the end of August.

We really want to stay in the area as it would be less disruptive for my kiddlies as I still want my son to go to his nursery and to meet with playmates.

We haven't had any luck with short term let's as they either had flights of stairs to get to the front door or didn't want children in the accomodation. Therefore, If you and your family take pity on us and wouldn't mind us staying in your house or flat and watering the plants (obviously we shall contribute to bills) then please do let me know.

Kind regards

Katrina, Ade, Stan & Flora

    • Anyone can deliver for Evri - my daughter having just passed her driving test tried Evri to make some money - they basically give you a route and as many parcels as they think you can cope with - you make money for each one you deliver, so you can imagine - speed is the priority. Why would they wait for you to answer the door when they can just throw it and take a photo? If you have a choice, choose a different courier service or shop elsewhere where they do.
    • Boil - it’s the customer’s fault, not the delivery person’s.
    • A bit of a long shot but I'm on the lookout for a portable pop-up counter or podium.   The kind you often see on a high street, used by charities or utility companies to advertise their wares.   I've included a photo to give you the idea. I'm a peckham-based artist and am looking for one for a free (and non-profit) community art project.  It can be in any workable condition and can already have signage on it as we will remove and redecorate ourselves.    Thanks in advance, Linzie
    • No I absolutely did not - that much is clear. Have you read the latest stories about Unite, Len and the hotel in Birmingham? The UK electorate were smart enough to reject a far-left party in 2019, let's hope they are smart enough to reject a far-right party at the next election too. If not we are all doomed.
