Anyone know of any parents and kids under 16 who might want to take part in a free one day animation workshop on 26 August (10am-4pm) at the Centre for Wildlife Gardening in Peckham.

It's run by the BFI. Nice thing for parents/grandparents/carers to do with their children.

The films they make will be screened as part of the Peckham Free Film Festival, which is being organised by Dulwich Paradiso Film Society and its partners.

Email [email protected] for details or to sign up. See the what's on section of the Free Film Festivals website for more info.

    • My friend is an elderly lady and prefers to wash her own hair. She also has mobility problems and is dependant on mini cabs. They took her to the hairdresser and waited whilst she had it cut.. She obviously paid extra to the driver. If she had her hair washed- would have been in the salon a lot longer. They did spray wet her hair.
