Trusted part-time nanny/babysitter

Recommended Posts

Hi families!

My recent nanny-mom referred me to this forum to find a new family now that Henry has gone to a full time child-minder. While I am 23, I have worked in childcare professionally for five years, including paid childcare jobs, private babysitting, and private part-time nannying.

I have just finished my master?s course at UCL and will be working there in research two days per week. Therefore, I am available immediately and for one-two-or-three days per week (flexible and available for occasional babysitting/weekends!). I have been DBS checked for uni last year, so that is still current.

I am happy to put you in contact with my previous family or the emails of my previous jobs if desired. Additionally will provide CV if requested.

My rates do vary, depending on hours worked per day etc. Typically, I look for about 8-12 per hour (with more hours worked lowering the rate), though I am flexible.

Feel free to ask any questions, including more detailed experience or availability!

Best,

Lisa

    • Thanks very much for that.   I think the better informed we are, the better our discussions will be. The article contained: "That arrest had quite an impact on the [phone theft] numbers for the following month,” said Green.  Here's another indicator, admittedly a piece of police PR,  of how well-targeted police efforts, mostly invisible to us,  can when successful  seriously affect offending figures: https://news.met.police.uk/news/met-police-drive-down-theft-and-robbery-by-84-percent-in-battersea-and-nine-elms-500495.
    • Another excellent article from Jim Waterson's London Centric reporting https://www.londoncentric.media/p/kitchen-foil-and-algerian-markets?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email Interesting that there seem to be favoured and repeated routes for phone snatching for particular thieves.  Seems ED might be one of them ☹️
    • Anywhere near the Overground/Windrush due to its excellent transport links.  You will get larger place in SE23 for example that will give you enough spare cash for private school if that's what you really want but states schools generally good, reflecting the demographic  Easy to get to the bustling streets of East Dulwich but in ten years see what happens to Forest Hill centre.  The whole of the area is full of green spaces.
