Do you dream in song ?

Strange post title but I often wake up after dreaming where a song is playing in the background of the dream, this morning it was Duran Duran's ordinary world.

It's not caused by music being played in the real world (clock radio going off for example)

I then can't get the song out of my head for ages.

Am I alone with this or do other people dream in song ?

I'm always dreaming with a musical soundtrack/element, thought it was normal..

All the time, anything from the last movement of Beethoven's Ninth to Stanley Holloway singing "Wiv a little bit of luck" - had both this week - if you listen to a lot of music the old subconscious will always spill it into dreams.

I don't listen to a huge amount but sometimes the song lyric is related to a message in the dream, or telling me something.

So where did mr sun sun, mr golden sun by the fun loving criminals come from this morning ? (Opens curtains on a grey day)

I wake up humming out loud "the Blue Danube" sometimes and then realise I've wet the bed

Oops soz about that man... but you will insist on leaving the window open... I can't help with the serenading! ;-)
