Hello families,

Our excellent, smart and completely fabulous nanny has two days available from now until February 2016 next year.

She been looking after our incredibly lively, high-spirited 6 year old boy for three year but we?ve just had a baby so we?re looking to help her find another family until I head back to work in the New Year.

Originally from Sheffield, she?s got an incredible amount of experience with children of all ages and temperaments.

She?s calm, level headed, reliable and very funny. She has also has a great sixth sense of knowing which tedious domestic chores need doing to ease the pressure on the whole family.

We couldn?t have made it through the years of high-pressure jobs and young children without our own version of Mary Poppins. Snap her up if you?re in need of excellent childcare!

Days can be flexible. Please DM me for more details

Additional info:

A very down to earth, warm and intelligent woman and our son adores her.

Over 10 years child care experience

Ofsted registration is in process.

CRB

Infant and child first aid

Worked with newborns to 14 years

Full, clean uk driving licence

worked with special needs

Wide experience in a range of sleep routines and training

Happy to help with domestic chores (cooking, laundry, errands)

In her own words:

"I am an extremely reliable 28 year-old with lots of get up and go and a passion for looking after children which I?ve done for 10 years, both as a nanny and with my brothers and sisters. (I?m one of 9 siblings).

Its very rewarding to be one-on-one with children and foster their development.

I?m organised, prepared and experienced at looking after babies and young

children, and feel I have a sensitive and intuitive nature with them. I?m very sociable and

am calm under pressure. I?ve been lucky to work with some lovely families, all of which would give me glowing recommendations?

    • Thanks for your reply. I’ve subscribed to Ancestry a few times in the past but felt I wasn’t using it enough to warrant keeping up the subscription.
    • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
    • Was anyone else disturbed last night/early hours this morning by the party going on in someone’s garden on Crystal Palace road. Can’t see what house exactly but it’s around number 43 - 41… it was happening quite frequently last year. Seems it’s starting again! Very inconsiderate.
