Situated in a rather unassuming location on the way to ED station I didn't fully appreciate this place. Wandered in on Sat morning for the first timeand they have a great breakfast menu (Avocado on sourdough, poached eggs etc)and good coffee. It's also a nice fit out in there with friendly staff and it had a nice atmosphere.

Def recommended and one not to walk past...

They do a lovely sandwich called Courgine-lightly pickled courgette and a mild cheese in a toasted bread

That sounds almost like a classic grilled cheese sandwich...will def give that a go...

It is a good place, and the seats outside at the front are still sittable, as long as it is not raining. Cafe Viva on Choumert Road is similarly sized and another relatively new favourite.

Would definitely recommend - great coffee and one of the best Italian sandwiches I've ever had. Pricey though, depending which sandwich you pick...
