The London Theatre Factory is running another exciting Halloween Themed Theatre Arts Workshop Day for 5-12yr olds and we'd love to see you there. Come for our 50% off taster day!

Halloween Theatre Arts Workshop | 28 Oct (1 day)

Set in the theatrical set design of a magical Haunted land, children will devise their own scenes and create their own scary, magical character, be it a vampire, a friendly ghost, a werewolf or wizard, in ACTING, PHYSICAL THEATRE and PUPPETRY! They will tell ghost stories in STORY TELLING, bringing them to life with beautiful SHADOW PUPPETRY. They will play HALLOWEEN THEMED GAMES. They will make props and costume pieces or masks to add to their scene. At the end of the day, the children will perform their scene in one FINAL INTERACTIVE THEATRE PERFORMANCE to parents and family.

Our workshops include developing skills in most of the following:

Acting - Drama Games - Script Writing - Storytelling - Physical Theatre - Soundscapes - Prop Making - Costume Design - Set Design - Puppetry - Mask Making or Face Painting

Students will get to take home their own script they have written as well as props or masks they have made. At the final presentation children will be awarded with a London Theatre Factory certificate to congratulate them on their achievements!

Packed Lunches

Please bring a packed lunch and bottle of water. We will provide fruit, snacks and squash for break times.

Uniform:

Plain T-Shirt and comfortable sports trousers, shorts or leggings (or similar). Sports sweater (or similar). Jazz shoes, plimsoles or trainers. No logos prefered.

Costumes

Children should come dressed wearing a costume of a creature they'd like to be and we can add extra trimmings, such as cloaks and masks.
