Hello, hope someone out there can help me. I was thinking about taking my daughter for a trial class on Friday and the recorded message said we should feel free to drop in but doesn't clarify which of the classes on the website are actually running at the moment. Someone else mentioned a while ago that only the 10 am class is running on Fridays but I'm wondering if anyone can confirm that that's still the case for this week?

Thanks!

Over the summer there was only one 10am class at the Constitutional Hall on Fridays, but last week Charlene said that as of tomorrow she will be running both the 10am and the 11am classes again, as it was starting to get busier again. I'm guessing it's still a drop-in arrangement tomorrow as it's still the summer holidays, though normally you have to book in blocks of four (you can take them over a period of five weeks).
There are always boys whenever I've been on a Friday, though it's fair to say they're outnumbered by girls. But the dances aren't especially 'girly' (apart from maybe one bit where you do 'good toes and naughty toes' like in ballet) and there's lots of charging about galloping etc so the boys who do go seem to enjoy it.

    • Some P13 drivers appear very risk averse. I live in Underhill and on that road drivers are forced to back away, often considerable distances, from buses to allow them to pass, even when the bus has an immediate space it could back into. The driver at the time said that buses 'weren't allowed to back'. So reports of cars 'blocking' P13s might mean simply that the car was legally parked but the road too narrow,or the bus driver not prepared to risk advancing. NB some P13 drivers are both skilled and courteous, but not all.
    • I’ve experienced the same in Herne Hill. It’s definitely linked to where there are already marked bays, it prevents you from parking within approx 200-400 metres around the bay. Dulwich Village has quite a few bays, which probably explains why you’ve noticed it there and not elsewhere.
    • They are quick enough to issue tickets why can they not tow it away. How many people waited at bus stops for no bus.
