  1. Slightly different question, but i'm curious as to whether schools get additional funding to support the number of children they have on the register or if funding is only available for those children with a formal plan in place? Thanks
  2. The menu at Malabar Feast looks very similar to the menu at Ganapati. Are they definitely not related?
  3. would like to add another recommendation for Dave. He fitted a new stair runner for me. He showed up on time, was speedy and did a really nice job. Problem solved a couple of issues. Really happy with the end result and his pricing is very competitive too.
  4. Thx for your responses. He has been on the waiting list with CAMHS since April 2022. I have spoken to the head partner at my GP practice and although she is sympathetic she has been firm on not being able to offer a shared care agreement. In addition to paying for his assessment and medication, I had to pay for all of his routine tests privately too before he started medication. CAMHS are not disputing his private diagnosis, at least not yet as they are yet to consider his case. I have had problems with his school though being circumspect about his private diagnosis and not offering the help he should be given as it hasn't been referred through CAMHS. The psychiatrist that diagnosed him is an NHS consultant also. My husband and daughter also have ADHD so i know how it manifests and my son has major issues with attention deficit, memory and organisation which are really hampering his confidence 😞
  5. Thanks Sonners, funnily enough I am currently at 306, but they don't do shared services. I think they are a good surgery but they have been pretty firm on that point and refused to refer my son for the tests he needed before going on to medication and have said that they cannot prescribe his medication either. Pleased you are having a more helpful experience with them. It's a shame that more GPs don't support shared services given the huge pressure on CAMHS.
  6. Hi, I'm wondering if anyone knows if there are GP surgeries in ED that offer shared cared agreement where an NHS GP works with a private practitioner to help treat someone? My son has adhd, we went down the private route for diagnosis as the waiting list with camhs was almost 2 years. Now that we have the diagnosis our GP is not willing to take on prescribing this medication as he wasn't diagnosed by camhs, which means we have to pay a small fortune every month to help manage his symptoms. Thx. Charlotte
  7. I'm so pleased that your dog is feeling better! Thanks for starting this thread, i was extra vigilant with my dog in dulwich park yesterday as a result.
  8. hi doubledeckerfun, have you downloaded the NHS app? My recovered from Covid pass appeared on my app a day after my isolation period ended. You don't need to get it from your GP.
  9. Agree. i've used them on and off over the last couple of years when my regular cleaner has been unavailable and they have always done a decent job and Brian tries hard to accommodate.
  10. i had my first AZ jab yesterday at midday. Felt fine all day but woke up at 1:30am this morning with a fever, flu like symptoms, aching all over. Paracetamol has helped a bit but feel totally wiped out today, back and leg pain, fever and chills, groggy. hope tomorrow will be better!
  11. Wayne valeting my car yesterday. My husband had been using it to get back and forwards to a building site and it was covered in builders dust, bits of rubble. After a few hours of hard work it now looks brand new, gleaming inside and out. Better than it has ever done. Wayne works really hard and takes a lot of pride in his work, he's punctual, polite and friendly. Really nice guy who does an awesome job. Highly recommended.
  12. Another recommendation for Stefan. He did an amazing job making my oven sparkling clean and is a really nice guy too - very reliable and easy to deal with.
  13. Another recommendation for Stefan. He did an amazing job cleaning my oven sparkling clean and is a really nice guy too - very reliable and easy to deal with.
  14. Another recommendation for Steve, he came and cleaned two sofas, one of which in particular was in a pretty ropey state. Both look clean and fresh now. Very easy to deal with, efficient and and friendly.
  15. I used Stefan to clean my oven last week. It looks amazing, sparkling clean. He's a really nice guy who works hard and does a great job.
