How much do nanny's charge for nanny share's?

Hi all,

Would families or nanny's mind letting me know how much you pay for a nanny share? So how much per family assuming two families? Do you charge each family different amounts depending on the number of children? How do you work out food and electricity of the house the share is hosted at?

Many thanks all!

The general rate for a nanny share is ?6-7/hr per family, net. So the nanny with a share will get ?12 net if its just one kid per family and ?14/hr or more if their is more than one kid. If one family has 2 kids and one has 1 kid, the rates would get adjusted slightly. You wouldn't necessarily slice it in thirds with the family with two kids paying two thirds. So it might looks something like the 1 kid family contributing ?6/hr and the other family contributing ?7/hr. On the hosting, if you split it, not need to adjust the rates for hosting. You need to balance the costs of hosting (electricity, food, wear and tear on your house, extra baby stuff) against the benefits (your kids laundry will be done, kitchen regularly clean and tidy, you don't have to get your kids anywhere in the morning and evening, freezer full of cooked kids meals). Generally I prefer to host so I have charged a small amount for food - ?3-5 per days seems about right for three meals and snacks.

They are some of the best looking foxes around so clearly being well-fed - glorious coats and bushy tails but interested in humans and keen to engage/be fed rather than being scared.
