I watched that too on iPlayer and quite enjoyed it. I've no preconceptions as to who Amstell is but having read what's above I see he is the main character. I thought he was good.

I almost liked Garth Marenghi's Darkplace but in the end I felt they overplayed it. And I know that's kind of the point. Perhaps what I mean is they over-overplayed it for me.

I wanted to like this, I really did as i really want something funny to watch but I managed about 10 minutes. It just made me feel a bit uncomfortable. The only thing I had to distract me was Simon Amstell, he has the face of Jeanne Tripplehorn from Basic Instinct or more recently that US drama about Mormons. Its quite unnerving.

I love the fact that he is superior and rude on Never Mind The Buzzcocks. So I am gonna watch this programme on i-player. Sounds f-a-b. Cheers.
