We are a local based company who have a Wordpress website but unfortunately it is not mobile friendly which is definitely something we need. We require someone with experience to change this as the template is apparently quite complicated as we did look into this previously but the person was unable to assist in the matter. Many thanks.

For Websites to be PC..Tablet.. Mobile Complient they should me made with Fluid Grid Layouts..

Dreamweaver has facilities to create Fluid Grid Layouts.

Not sure how this could be done without starting over again. ?

I'm a bit out of touch these days.

Hi there!

I'm a web designer and i make responsive websites.

Unfortunately, in wordpress changing the code to make it responsive is quite a bit of work. And most people will just want to start over (because its easier to start over)

If you guys ever think about making a new one, i can help you with that.

Please take a look at my portfolio

Hope to hear from you.

Best,

//Natasha

Thanks Natasha for providing that information and your services.

We will think about your offer but we are happy with the layout and finish of the website itself and have had numerous good comments about it so reluctant to be starting all over again.

Best

Tokiko Morishima put our website into WordPress including making it mobile friendly.

PM me if you would like her details.

Hi Natasha

Can I recommend my colleague, Gal. He is a Wordpress and responsive expert and lives locally. I work with him regularly and he is a great designer. Take a look at an example of his work here: http://duality-design.co.uk/work/mark-alesky.html

His email is [email protected]

Thanks, Madeleine

I have to agree with Natasha - reworking a website template to be responsive is no easy task and won't be cheap. Best to replace the Wordpress template altogether and try to re-create the look and feel of the site.

Hello,

when I was lookng for an effective website for my business, I was leaning towards using WordPress too. But I found out that building your store with WordPress, requires to be fairly technical. To cut long story short, WordPress requires time and energy to maintain all the technicalities of operating a website. On the Web I found an informative article on outsourcing web development to a remote development team ( https://diceus.com/outstaffing-vs-outsourcing-choice-without-fail/ ) and decided to give it a try. I remained totally pleased with the service.

    • Not sure what you mean by "involved with firework enjoyment"? I'm all for others enjoying themselves, and I like fireworks, but if they were limited to public displays then people could still enjoy them? Having said that, I see that tickets for the London New Year fireworks start at £20 (Dawson's Heights it is,  then!) The fireworks in Brockwell Park used to be free. I don't know why those don't happen any more?
    • Really interesting discussion here. It's difficult to respect the views of people who support Farage, Trump, Musk etc. Why should we, when their views are deplorable. But then that exact 'deplorable' label, as we know, is counterproductive and drives people to double down / switch off to more progressive views. How do you actually help change minds? We're currently spiralling into dark places culturally and politically imo. The amount of open racism, even amongst front line politicians here and in the US is astounding to me. Feels like we're going backwards. The influence of social media and the tech billionaires / bros, is a powerful and largely malignant one. There was an enlightening (and frightening) bit of journalism by Sky this week about Musk's influence on British politics. He has a strange obsession with the UK and London in particular (as do many on the US right wing): https://news.sky.com/story/the-x-effect-how-elon-musk-is-boosting-the-british-right-13464487
