Does anybody know of a company/individual who sells natural logs in bulk for an open fire. We have been using the same guy the past couple of years but he has disappeared and the cost of buying them in small bags from the petrol station is extortionate. Many thanks

We have just had Roger round as been having problems with rats in our basement flat, he turned up when he said he would and gave us good advice on how to get rid of them without killing them and leaving an awful stink under the floorboards. He is a charming and very knowledgable man so would highly recommend him to anybody with a pest problem.

JW's need to understand how the postal system works. I received a card from the Postman stating a letter has been sent to "Householders" at my address and I need to pay ?2 to have the letter resent as there is no stamp on it. I was suspicious about the addressee but my inquisitiveness got the best of me so I paid for it online. I just received the said hand written letter from a lovely lady from the Dulwich Congregation of Jehova's Witnesses on Scylla Road. I will definitely not be joining or answering "Who is God" or "Does Science agree with the Bible? but will ask "How do you think the RoyalMail postal system works" lol

I used Charlie's services today as got his details from the good old EDF. My bicycle had been in my shed for years and it needed works doing to it before I could ride it and Charlie managed to fix it in a very short period of time. Highly recommend Charlie for any bike repairs/service required. Very reasonably priced as well.

Started watching Schitts Creek on Netflix last week (already at season 3) as recommended by friend - it is hilarious. Each episode only 20 minutes long and there are 5 series. They are making the 6th season their last.

Well the place is "closed now until further notice" - I follow them on Instagram and received that post a couple of days ago. I absolutely loved the place - friendly staff, great food, reasonably priced and had lager on tap so you could have a nice cold pint or two to wash down your meal....really hope they open again soon!!!

Nice to hear Paradise2..... The main guy there is a lovely bloke, not too chatty and does a good job. I have been there twice recently and would also recommend him/them. Good value and also listens to your requirements rather than chopping away and saying this is how you should have it.

I have just driven past these premises and it looks like Country Homes is now a shop that sells very similar items and is now called Timeless - maybe just a coincidence but thought it was worth mentioning....

That has made me chuckle this morning fishbiscuits....

Hi, I have used a phone repair guy a couple of times for replacement of iPhone screens and is located on Peckham Road, the Camberwell end. Reasonable prices and seems to sell a number of iPhone/ipad parts and does repairs. Hope this helps.

And another recommendation for Dave. He turned up when he said he would, explained the problem about my leaking boiler and bought the part needed locally and fixed the issue. All for a very reasonable price so will be using him again if I need further work.
