Can't cope with this weather, don't know what to wear, let alone what to dress children in. Plus, need to put my summer stuff away and get winter stuff out, have mountain of stuff the littlest one has outgrown that I really need to go through and dispose of, but also the mountain of stuff I've just got out of the loft that she may now fit into, but need to sort and hang up, oh and the pile of stuff her big sister has outgrown which I need to sort and put away for when little one can wear it....wwwwaaaaaahhhhhhh........it's all too much. I need heeeelllllpppp........

Sorry, I know I shouldn't be complaining about this, just having a moment. Chocolate may possible be the cure....

Molly - as you may imagine, I am suffering from this too. I don't know what is going to happen when we need to shuffle around bedrooms and lose our spare room - it currently resembles a laundry/second had shop store. Recently tried to pack up some of little snowboarders clothes to find there were some still with tags on. My own wardrobe is a nightmare. Husband starting to get bit narky about it (question last night - what do you actually do when baby has his 2 hr sleep? - answer - lie weakly on the sofa darling - you try spending from 6am - 12.30 with him on your own). Need to hire a wardrobe clearer-outer....or just house clearance I suppose....argh....

My sympathies! We're in the same boat - every time I put a load of stuff in the attic, Notsoseriousbaby seems to outgrow another bunch of clothes.

And, of course, if you're looking to sell anything that baby C has outgrown, let me know! Vx

Grab a bar of chocolate, a glass of wine ( or both ;-) ) then slowly begin your task.

I had a clear out last week and was amazed how many black bags it took just to have a basic seasonal clear out.

Our garden shed is my next project - I need to be able to just grab something without tripping over one of our

much needed household items which never get looked at let alone used. Argggghh !

I'm in the same position but just don't have the time to do it. I managed to do a Sainsburys bag full of socks the other day and that's my lot before one is crying or needs feeding or changing etc etc. The next thing is to keep moths at bay - we had a load in our old house and it was horrible, they chewed through a lovely coat of mine which I was too fat for but had hoped one day I would be able to wear again....HA!

    • I wonder where he could be deported to, Hungary the obvious candidate in Europe, perhaps he would get on well with Modi?   Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch and Reform UK leader Nigel Farage both said Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood should look at whether Abd El Fattah's citizenship could be revoked to enable his swift removal from the UK. Farage said in a letter to Mahmood: "It should go without saying that anyone who possesses racist and anti-British views such as those of [Mr Abd El Fattah] should not be allowed into the UK." So just racists views are ok Nige?
    • Always preferred Grace and Favour to the BMC, commented in the past on this and sadly long since gone
    • If it's the same one I'm thinking of, it was a little further down the road towards LL, probably where the Fresh Flower Company is today. I'd forgotten all about it, with good reason. I think it disappeared before Blue Mountain opened and became a pizza place? I once bought a carton of milk from the deli and when I opened it, it was solid. I did get my money back though.
    • But when was it posted?! I haven't posted any this year. I can't bring myself to pay the exorbitant cost of the stamps, and at least I can sort of honestly blame it on illness. If I can't hand deliver them, I send e-cards. I know it's not the same, but it's very much easier. And as for the people who still send pages of closely handwritten letters .... very admirable in terms of the hours it must have taken them to write them,  but they remind me of those spoofs eg x has just passed all their many important exams with the highest marks possible, y has just walked round the world in a week, z has just become the first person ever to be knighted twice, we are about to fly off for our fifteenth exotic holiday this year ....... Or else (or sometimes and) they are full of who has had what illnesses and accidents and other catastrophes. Is this just my relatives and distant friends? Am I somehow attracting these reams of handwritten paper?
