Monday afternoon activities?

Hi,

Can anyone suggest anything to keep a 1 year old (not walking yet) entertained on Monday afternoons? There doesn't seem to be much going on then and it'd be my best opportunity for doing something.

it was seeing your thread that made me decide to get organised and find out what was on - very helpful as I've only recently moved to the area and haven't found much yet. I only have Mondays and Tuesday now and it seems that there is lots all on at the same time on Monday morning and almost nothing in the afternoon.

One O'clock club? There don't tend to be any organised 'classes' in afternoons it seems - prob due to nap timings and school pick ups for those with older siblings....

i would say the peckham rye one o clock club too - there's a soft play area for pre-18-monthers. lots of toys to play with and things to do.

We go to a very nice baby group at the Albrighton Centre, Dog Kennel Hill, for up to 18 months. 1.30 - 3pm. Might see you there this afternoon...

Ah that's great thanks! I might try out the Albrighton Centre if Naps permit. We've been to the one o'clock club a few times it's really good but I think we're at an awkward in-betweeny stage at the moment as she's not entertained by the baby mat area for very long but can't manage the big stuff outside yet.

Hi Kes,

I'm planning to start a baby music class in the area for babies up to age three as soon as possible and the drop in class will meet Monday afternoons since, as you've found, there seems to be a lack of activities at this time! I'm trying to confirm a venue as soon as possible and when I do will post it up on here right right away!
