Led by experienced mindfulness teachers, Chris, Mark & Jo, these sessions are focussed on developing a kind, non-judgemental awareness of the impact your mind has on how you live your life.

You will be introduced to a range of practices to help you be more energised, calm and responsive, and to build your resilience to physical and emotional pain. We cover practices in stillness and in movement, and practices around mindful speaking/listening and mindful eating ? each week's class is different. Our classes are suitable for total beginners as well as more experienced practitioners.

Through our mindfulness practice we can rediscover our joy and enthusiasm for life in the moment.

Cost: free (suggested donation ?7)

?Mindfulness is simply being aware of what is happening right now without wishing it were different; enjoying the pleasant without holding on when it changes (which it will); being with the unpleasant without fearing it will always be this way (which it won?t).? ? James Baraz

    • I understand that, but I can't really grasp how it works in practice, but never mind 😵‍💫
    • It's local independent shops supporting one another.
    • Adding my recommendation for Niko too. Found his number on here and he came out at short notice on a busy weeknight to help us with a kitchen sink issue that had flooded our kitchen that day. Really helpful, responsive and went out of his way to fit us in and help us out. Very reasonably priced too - would thoroughly recommend!
    • Looks like it! Though according to the OP, they are "golden, hand-crimped parcels  packed with flavour" 😀 I don't understand. Admittedly my brain is functioning at a very low level at the moment. Does that mean various local shops get together and agree to offer a discount to anyone who shows them a receipt from one of the other ones dated the same day? I can't see what's in it for either of them, unless people shop somewhere they wouldn't otherwise have done just to get the discount. Is it for vaguely  linked things, say cheese from a cheese shop, wine from another shop? Showing my age there.  And then suppose it's always the same shop which people go to second to get the discount? What's in it for the first shop? People go there in order to get the discount in the second shop?
