Costco card, are they worth it?

I'm thinking about getting a Costco card but I dont know if you actually save enough to warrent the drive to Croydon and the ?20 yearly fee. I'd probably be buying mainly nappies, baby wipes, dog food etc in bluk. Does anyone have one, or have an opintion on the price difference?

I've had one for years... Not everything is cheaper but there is a lot that is! Dog food is particularly good value, I make my ?20 back on this alone! Washing powder / softener etc all good value too.

Does Costco do premium types of dog food or just stuff like Iams and Bakers?

Tends to vary, they always seem to have Autarky, Baker's, pedigree chum and their own brand of the dry complete food, the veterinary type foods it's a bit more hit and miss.
